This past week, Namicos hosted the first-ever meeting of the US Pharma & Biopharma Outsourcing Association (PBOA), and the Japan CMO Association. Representatives of major Japanese and Global CMOs joined this collaborative meeting to share best practices, ideas, and knowledge shaping the US and Japanese CMO/CDMO landscape and the international pharmaceutical industry. The meeting was followed by a series of additional Executive-level talks over two days between Mr. Roth and key Japanese CMO and Pharmaceutical industry leaders, coordinated by Namicos and attended by our President, Kazunori Ashida.
As a leading manufacturer and supplier of pharmaceutical packaging and solutions, Namicos performs a key role by supporting the international expansion of Japanese pharmaceutical companies, particularly into the US and European markets. We have been the preferred pharmaceutical packaging partner of 17 of the 20 top Japanese pharmaceutical companies for more than 70 years.
Over the past two decades, as our clients have faced increasing complexity in their drug development process, and as trends in the domestic market have expedited their globalization process causing them to shift clinical and commercial focus towards the US market, their needs for pharmaceutical packaging procurement have also changed. Japanese pharmaceutical companies depend on Namicos for insight into US packaging standards, trends, and regulation and trust us with the procurement and project management of their global packaging. Our vast global network of suppliers and multilingual service capabilities means that Namicos can work effectively and efficiently with all stakeholders – including the CMOs who manage their clinical trials and commercial manufacturing – ensuring timely provision of information and product anywhere in the world and with the same level of client service and quality in Japan and abroad.
Namicos is proud to be an Affiliate member of the US PBOA and looks forward to future opportunity for further information exchange and collaboration with the PBOA and our US CMO/CDMO colleagues.
