Since its foundation in 1942, Namicos has played a major role in the pharmaceutical industry through the supply and manufacture of containers.
Based on our knowledge, technology and experiences, we have built a global network of suppliers and distributors who, together, help our clients meet their needs for quality and safety.
In 1990, we constructed a new manufacturing plant with highly clean environments that are appropriate for the pharmaceutical industry. We are ISO15378 certified (GMP for primary packaging materials for medicinal products). “We challenge ourselves to deliver quality packaging to our partners in an ever-changing industry” is our corporate motto shared by all employees. We aim to become a true partner of every new client so that they can say “When it comes to pharmaceutical containers, first consult Namicos.”
With a Japanese government cap on drug costs forcing pharmaceutical companies overseas, we’ve supported our Japanese clients in expanding into new markets. Today, we have plastic containers compliant with regulations in three regions: Japan, the US and Europe. Together, these containers are helping our clients work efficiently and with reduced costs.
Furthermore, building on our contract services of inspecting and assembling a variety of pharmaceutical components, at the end of 2018, we acquired a license to market medical devices, which were manufactured overseas, within Japan.
